The team from Cobbora Solar and BESS project, along with key consultants, met with community members in Dubbo, Dunedoo and Elong Elong on 17 - 18 September 2025 to discuss the project’s Environmental Impact Statement (EIS), now on public exhibition until 1 October 2025.
Thank you to everyone who participated and joined in the discussion on all aspects of the project, including its location, land management, cultural heritage, ecology and biodiversity, along with the company’s commitment to changing the name following completion of the EIS process.
The info sessions were a great opportunity to seek input and feedback, be clear and open in all communications and create opportunities for local communities to be central to the project’s development.
Responses to submissions from the public will be provided following the public exhibition, and a Response to Submissions report will be submitted to both the State and Federal Governments for review.
Team members are now available for one-on-one meetings with stakeholders and can be contacted via phone or email. Get in touch via email on contactus_cobbora@cobborasolarfarm.com.au or phone 02 9128 8591. For more information, including links to the EIS, visit our EIS Update page here.
